Our Testimony

We do testify before all men and in the sight of God that only by the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, purchased through Christ’s obedience, can a man be right before God. This righteousness is given by God’s free grace and is received by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

We do testify that in and of himself no man can be the least bit acceptable before the infinitely holy and immutably righteous God.

We do openly confess and declare before the whole world that the truth as it is in Jesus has been defended and confirmed most faithfully in the Creeds, Confessions and Covenants of the Protestant Reformation in Europe and the British Isles. The most notable examples of these (and the ones to which we have subscribed) we esteem to be the Westminster Standards, agreed upon in Great Britain, the first of which was the swearing of the Solemn League and Covenant in 1643.

We maintain and affirm that the Auchensaugh Renovation (1712) was a faithful renewal of the Solemn League and Covenant.

We desire to declare to all Christians and Christian churches that only by faithfully defending and confirming the pure doctrine, worship and government of Christ’s Church will the saving truth as it is in Jesus be preserved whole and entire.

Lastly, we desire to testify to Christians everywhere that a diversity of opinion within the Church is repugnant to Christ. There is “…One Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and Father of all…” (Eph 4:6) Unity comes through agreement in the truth.
